I grew up on a farm in Central Minnesota, where I laid out big plans for my life. I loved the outdoors, I loved weather, and I loved science. I wanted to do ALL of it. Forever.

Soo.. I eventually went to school in North Dakota to become an Atmospheric Scientist, where I would graduate, work some incredible jobs, and settle into a career that could have supported me for the rest of my life. And then I quit.

I wanted more. I wanted do more. I wanted to be more. I was willing to sacrifice money for time, security for excitement, and the present for the future.

I wanted a lifelong challenge that I could work on, grow, and be proud of for the rest of my life.

Most importantly, I wanted to build something from the ground up

The internet gives us incredible opportunities in life. It connects to a world no other generation throughout history has ever known before. It’s helped even the playing field.
